ART CRATES & T-FRAMES
We are the ONLY manufacturer of shipping crates in Ireland with a background in fine art handling and shipping. With qualifications in both mechanical engineering, and art & object handling (West Dean College), and over twenty years working in the fine art sector, we are uniquely qualified to build crates and travel frames for international art shipping.
It's helpful when ordering to have the dimensions (dims) of your artwork to hand, but even if you're not sure, just give us a call and we'll make sure your crates are made to measure.
IPPC HEAT TREATED TIMBER
We use IPPC certified heat treated timber sourced in Ireland, to help prevent the spread of pests. All crates shipping in or out of the EU must be certified pest-free. Using heat treated timber guarantees our crates a re suitable for shipping to the USA, Australia, and other destinations worldwide. More information is available at https://www.ippc.int/en/
BESPOKE DESIGN
All our crates are made to measure, we will ensure we have the right information to provide you with crates that will protect your art in transit. We use 3D design software and proprietary algorithms to ensure a perfect fit.
C.E. STAMPED PLYWOOD
Our plywood panels are all CE stamped and where possible sourced from sustainable sources. As plywood is by definition heat-treated, we can make crates entirely from plywood if necessary.
P.E. FOAM
We use chemically inert polyethylene foam as a shock absorbent lining on all our crates. P.E. foam is also 100% recyclable at end of use, making our crates environmentally sustainable.
